Futura Type Specimen
For this project, I created a type specimen mailer showing Futura and its many uses. I wanted to accentuate the playful geometric features of Futura, so I played a lot with angles and bright color. On the back of the type specimen is a poster with a Vampire Weekend lyric, partially because the band is known for using the typeface on their album covers, but also because Futura is known for being a modern looking "hipster" font.
